GridPP experiences of monitoring the WLCG network infrastructure with perfSONAR

Overview:

At any one time the Worldwide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG) transfers data between its 170 constituent sites at an approximate total of 260 Gbits/s. These sites are located in 42 countries across the world and transfers typically cross multiple NREN domains. This talk describes the UK GridPP collaboration's experiences of the deployment and use of the perfSONAR tool to monitor the performance of the underlying network and to help identify problems.
