User experience of AAI
Date:
Wednesday, September 28, 2016 - 14:00
Many research infrastructures are currently developing and deploying their federated authentication and authorisation frameworks (AAI). These are in general being built on existing AAIs such as eduGAIN and on the production research and education federations, often in collaboration with the EU H2020 AARC project. This session considers three different research infrastructures: seismology and the European Plate Observing System (EPOS), particle physics and the Worldwide Large Hadron Collider Computing Grid (WLCG), and the life sciences and the ELIXIR distributed infrastructure. Each will present their recent work on AAI and on interoperability with e-Infrastructures such as EGI and EUDAT. Their experiences and lessons learned will be of great interest to other research infrastructures and others designing and deploying federated AAI solutions.
