Enabling Dynamic Services

For end user, the combined use of different e-Infrastructure components (for instance connecting two different supercomputers using a lightpath network connection) is hard to accomplish. In this talk we will explain work done in the Enabling Dynamic Services (EDS) project to improve the situation by doing dome of the work needed upfront and provide users with some tools and building blocks for combining e-Infrastructure. We are constructing multiple connected proof of concept services, including dynamic networking, container based workflows, and auto-scaling notebook services. Based on these initial services and user feedback we are working towards making e-Infrastructure easier to combine by users.
